I don't blame you. The 6.2L is a beast. That's what my father has and it pulls awesome.

I will agree on the bad dealer service, that's why I do my own maintenance and repairs on all my vehicles.
No bashing, just personal experience!

If my truck throws codes at 55k miles, I'm obviously not going to turn around and give them my money again. Not to mention the piss poor dealer service I've gotten at every dealer I've gone to. I'll pass.
That's kinda funny. That's the same reasons I went with ford. My parents had terrible experience(s) with their suburban with the 5.3 even to the point where it was burning a quart of oil every tank of gas. That was at around 50k miles too. Just goes to show there is no perfect brand or vehicle.

Nice truck. I've never needed 4wd on a ramp either, but I don't want to need it and not have it. Plus we get the white stuff here, and for that reason alone I'd never buy a 2wd. Buying at the wrong time though man, should have waited til sept/oct or later to get the end of year incentives. Probably could have snuck into a 6.2 that way

I agree, no bashing on my end. It's all about personal experience, as in my opinion the big 3 all make good trucks. Dealer network has played a huge roll in me switching brands.
