So I bought an '89 Kawasaki Jet Mate

Became acquainted with this oddball machine months ago doing random Craigslist searches, but none ever came up in my area. Finally this one did. I figured I already own one of the strangest MCs (CSX220), why not own one of the strangest PWCs. Anyone on here own one of these Jet Mates or know of good sources of info?

Dang!!! Been looking for a Jetmate or SC650 and found nothing.
PWCtoday.com and xH20 are two good jetski forums

I remember seeing one of those at a boat show when I was a kid and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Keep us posted and more pics please!

agree on pwctoday.com. there is a big thread on the jet mate that usually stays on the first page. they seem to be going crazy in price right now and are hard to find. would be a blast to drop a 750 in there and buzz around the lake. as it is, an easy upgrade to the 650 would be a sbn44 carb, modified intake and westcoast or similar exhaust.
