My dock on Lake Austin. We got the boat out yesterday while only 1 flood gate was open. There are now 4 open, they are predicting having 8 open my mid-day tomorrow. They have never had that many open before.

as I browsed thru literally hundreds of pictures of the flooding and damage in our area lakes, I have seen several MC. One was a newer looking X25 that was on a lift crammed up into the roof and sitting almost 90 degrees in the slip. The saga continues with all the news casts saying the LCRA will assess and possibly open up to 8 total flood gates on Mansfield (Travis) which will be the most ever, only had 5 open back in the floods of the late 1950s. I've lived in this area my entire life (59 years) and don't recall ever having all 7 dams having flood gates open at once.
