GPS maps on a 2013

Don't know why but I did not order the GPS map option on my new x-30. Now I want to add it. Any suggestions or options on doing this myself with out having to go back to my dealer?

You have to get a USB plugin from a dealer that will activate the system. All you do is plug it in to the USB port and the Navigation works.

Into which USB port and do you have a part number or price for it?

Thanks for the info.

The USB port near the throttle lever is the one for updating the display - don't know about the price though.

I bought it for my 2013 x-25.
It cost $800 and in my opinion is a total rip off.
When it does work it's extremely basic and the graphics are horrible.
It won't even work most of the time. This might be a problem with my boat.
There is no information or instructions available so the only way to find out what it's like is to buy it.
They are giving the dealer a hard time with a refund so I'm stuck with a useless $20. flash drive. Actually, I don't even have that. The dealer accepted it back at first.

Use your phone instead.

Yes, I'm disgruntled.

I do love my boat!! They nailed the cruise control!!

Who is the Manufacturer

Hi, I also have a new X30 and my dealer said $1000 for the GPS Map. I was shocked, especially since there are so many other options available. Almost as though Mastercraft does not want to sell any of their GPS Map "USB Toggles". Did your system state who writes the software and is Mastercraft's sub contractor on the GPS MAP? Maybe there is a knock off that works.

My boat is growing on me. I switched from a Nautique 211. The X30 is definitely a different boat then the 211 and the tabs and ballast and profiles are all alot of fun -- unlimited wake shaping potential. Much roomier but a bit less tight in the handling -- but is 2' longer so yes I get it. Anyway, sure would like the GPS, but someone at Mastercrasft must be delusional to think rational individuals would pay that much in a day and age of portable mapping "with weather" for 50% of the Mastercraft price or "free phone GPS mapping". Mastercraft -- please reconsider your pricing strategy if you read these comments.
