Boom Question

This boom was shoved under the bow of the 1983 Stars & Stripes a purchased several years ago. Does anybody know the Mfg. or know how to properly set it up? This thing weighs a ton!

The big clamp mounts on your ski pylon. I can't tell if there is any bolts, but you could pick some up at the hardware store (just make sure they are stainless steal). The carabiners clip into the bow eye and onto the boom. I don't know the manufacturer, but it looks like the two pieces slide into each other. The only other advice would be to keep the tensioners off the boat...they'll scratch the gelcoat pretty easily.

I'd inspect the cables pretty well before using it... that thing looks old and homemade.
