Rainy days arenít so bad

Weíve had a lot of short lived summer showers here in the South. Two weekends ago we pulled in the dock just ahead of looking rain clouds. As the crew headed up to dry off and prep dinner, I stayed behind to wipe down the boat and tidy things up.

Then this happened, so I grabbed a cold one and reclined for a while:

i don't know about that. he made it back to shelter dry and has a cold drink. I can think of a worse outcome and it would be located approx. 100 feet in the distance

This post is on point! Love my end of day ritual in the boat house cleaning the boat and a good downpour is just a great excuse to sit in the boat for a while watching the storm.

I love scattered thunderstorm weather. Keeps people off the lake and keep trailer boaters from visiting the lake. Skiing is usually awesome after a storm.

Its when you have rotating low clouds like these last year, you might not want to be out on the lake.
