Need to find out which ECU you have before I can say what you need to pull codes with. Do not use a paper clip until you know for sure which ECU. You could damage it by doing so.

They are generally mount on the back of the motor; near where the motor bolts to the transmission.

MEFI ECU Types. You probably have a MEFI 4.



There maybe a cover over it. This is a MEFI 5

MEFI 1-4 can be read with the paper clip method.

I removed it

Got a break from work to inspect the ECU unit.

I think youre quiet right with MEFI 4, so i could read it out as the instruction offers?

I will get out the codes (if available) as soon as i get the LED

The diagnostic lead ist next to the ECM in the same Harness?
