perfect pass does not work in the MPH mode

MC perfect pass does not work in the MPH mode on 2006 190 pro star 350/350. Works fine in the RPM mode. MC Dealer tech. came and said all checks out ok. Tech. thinks it is the digital master gage. I think it is in a chip or computer that regulates speed in MPH with the paddle wheel. All works fine in manual modes. gages and paddle wheel all working accurately. Tech states that no replacement gage is available even if the gage is the problem. Does anyone have some good advice.

Call Perfect Pass support. I know that sounds like a smart a$$ answer but it's not meant to be. They have probably one of the best support teams in place and know their product very well. I've used them several times on different boats and they've been great to work with.

X2 above, call perfect pass and explain your problem. My first thought is broken wire at paddle wheel (it happened to me) or a bad paddlewheel itself.
