I had a 1973 Wombat in my younger years. Would like to have it back. Bought new for around $525. Sold it to pay for Mustang insurance while in school with no job. Bad decision. Picture of one on eBay a while back.

Building a custom ride for my wife. She got interested in riding when I taught her on my crf80. So figured I'd build her a custom setup. DRZ125, kx 85 front end and rear end. Swing arm will take some machining to get the bushing right and spaced properly. Here is my progress so far.

Lowering it for a better ride height?

2017 CRF450R. Switching from the 250 to the 450 has gone well so far.

Actually, the suspension on the DRZ 125 sucks and has drum brakes. So the KX 85 has better suspension ( will actually raise the height up about 3") and has front and rear disc brakes. So it will handle a lot better, have better braking, and I can put a better wheel and hub combo on it. Not going crazy on motor mods, just pipe, air box, bigger carb.

Some beautiful rides in here! I've been through a few bikes starting at 4 years old and my pw50. Then the little brother got it and I got a pw80. Graduated to a ttr125L, then to a 1992 WR200, and then to a 2006 CRF250R that I still have.

My dad got me into riding and still has his 1984 Husky WR400 that hasn't run in 20 years, he used to race enduro and hare scrambles up in New England when I was a kid. Moved to VA in 1994 and he quit riding. I keep saying I'm going to get it and restore it one of these days... I want to feel that big bore water cooled 2 stroke power coupled to drum brakes
