Redo of x45 upholstery

Looking for a redo of the old skins on my 07 x45. Do folks trust mail order or only local folks? If mail order, how hard is it to install yourself? Any other tips before I jump in on this?

My 2001 205v is set to be redone mid November. I got several quotes from places within 2hrs driving. They ranged 3200-7000. I ended up going with a guy 1hr away for 4K. I am removing all the cushions and taking them to him. I will also be doing the reinstall and floor covering myself. I had no desire to try and re install new skins myself. There is tricks of the trade to reinstalling the skins perfectly and I donít know them or have the desire to learn them.
