Stubbs bridge. Be careful. That's experience talking.

Greetings lads. I live in the NOVA area and am shopping for my family's first boat. Not impressed with the Malibus we've looked at and am leaning heavily towards MC based on their reputation and resale value. But there are no MCs in my area for sale so I still haven't set foot on one to see how they compare to the Malibus or Supras that we've see. Is there anyone in the area (Lake Anna, NOVA, etc) with an '03 to '07 205V or X-10 that they could show me? Just wanna get a feel for the layout, features, build quality, etc., before I potentially drive 1000+ miles to buy one. Don't need to see it on the water. Thank you.

Did anyone else see that boat that ran up on the bank across the cove that leads to Christopher Run Campground? I wish I got a picture of it... Wild.

No but find a pic! =) Didn't get out to the sandbar this weekend...such mediocre weather.
Lots of action around there, especially during holidays.

Here is a picture from the local news. Not great but shows the damage. Happened between 9 and 10 pm.

There are so many people from central VA on here that I had no idea about! I didn't make it out to the sandbar this past weekend either, had family obligations on Buggs Island (of course the water was up and I couldn't bring the boat... but I digress haha).

My friend who lives on LKA year round sent me a picture of that boat on Monday... the story is that the guy left Tim's Restaurant around 9:30pm and was "navigating at night according to his GPS which didn't show the point that he ran aground on." There was a woman on the boat as well and she is in the hospital with several broken ribs and a punctured lung. I think there's more to the story that I don't know, but according to FB he was breathalyzed and alcohol was not a factor... I think it may have been the next morning that the blood/alcohol test took place though.
