Some software on late 2018’s will be plug and play with Spark it all depends on whether the dealer put the latest software on when doing pdi. Either way after update my understanding is all dual screen 2018’s are compatible.

Which is sort of ironic, considering that of all the surf systems from the different brands, Mastercrafts system pulls on the wheel the least amount. Surfgate is the worst, and they have a remote. NSS also pulls more than Gen2, and they have a remote....

I miss my “smurf button” from the G a lot. Wish MC would do a remote, and then maybe just require the boat to be equipped with hydraulic steering. If it has HS, it can’t pull on the wheel when you switch sides. Problem solved!

Did your remote on the G work well? I went through two, they just never kept connection after falling.

Ya, I never had an issue. We used it all the time. Only ever had to connect it the one time when I first got the boat.

Glad you chimed in 440, I was curious how you liked that remote, how well it worked as well as if you needed to be aware that surfer is planning to transfer or if it wasn’t a big deal. I enjoy doing transfers but find it hard to time it correctly with driver and assume the remote would make it easier.

To note, once (with my initial software) when I was doing 20 mph my tabs went crazy, switching left to right back and forth continuously, until I stopped and did a battery disconnect. Not a fun experience for passengers or driver.

there is no way the x23 could be that clean side to side.

Anyone on this thread actually ridden behind the new X22 and has experience with the X23 ?? Until then it seems like all speculation. The waves just look different. Looks to me like the X22 is longer and with more lip while the X23 has a taller smoother face albeit not as long. Could easily be which settings were used. Hard to know without surfing it. Personally I really enjoy the tall smooth face that you get with the X23 steep setting. Looking forward to trying the X22 first hand once one shows up at my dealer.

Anyone get a quote yet on an X22 with options and not the MSRP number? I'm curious to get a comparison of what i'm hearing. I don't want to share numbers in the public forum, but would like to PM folks who may have gotten ball parks as well.
