The PO of my 205 installed a monster tower. Personally I'm not a huge fan of towers, but mine looks about as good as a tower could. I added the monster tower cargo bimini this year, and it has been great for adding storage and a bit of shade. I've had some problems with tower flex, but Monster Tower tech support was very helpful and sent me some new bolts that stiffened things up a bit.

Anyone have any experience with the Barefoot International Universal Tower? I like the fact that they have integrated racks and they are local for me.

The integrated racks are nice. However wet boards will drip all over the passengers. You can't beat Monster for the product prices and customer service. All top of the like you said tho the ND towers look the best with the MC lines

I put a Roswell Area 51 from www.roswellwakeair.com on my 99 PS205. I LOVE the look however, the tower shakes quite a bit in the chop which sucks.

The thing with these tower is they are "Universal" while that is great since it fits many boats, it sucks because there's spots everywhere for adjust-ability, which means it's not as sturdy as it could be.

having to do it again I would go ND, it's made for the boat, not universal and would be sturdy.

Try a Titan tower. I have one on my 205. Very rigid, no flex or shake. Easy to fold down (1 bolt releases the tower to fold down)

How does it do in rough conditions...Like say a trailer wheel falling off?

I seem to remember Ric having a trailer issue a few years back.
