Salt Fork is our preferred body of water, only once can I remember the water being so low that there was damage to boats and that was in the early 90's. We started going to the Ohio river back then, somewhere in Marietta and Kennedy park next to the horse track. Loading is a ***** with the cross current on the main river though.

Anyone ever go to the fireworks at lake milton? My wife and daughter want me to go, but I wonder how crowded pulling out will be afterwards.

I know this is a day late, but I went to the fireworks last night. I put in at PointView around 8 and had 3 boats in front of me. We idled back after the fireworks and where able to pull right out. I don't know if it's always like that or if a lot of people left because of the lightning.

I had no idea about any fireworks on Milton. What was the reason?

I believe the Lake Milton Association has had them the last couple years towards the end of summer

Yes, LMA puts on the fireworks. I was a member when I lived there, glad to see its still going strong. It was a winding down summer celebration.

I also went. I put in at the pointview ramp earlier around 6. We wakeboarded some but then pulled out due to the lightning. Since it cleared up I should have stayed in. Wasn't as much as a problem as I thought it would be. We will definitely plan to go again next year.
