If you really want the fastest fills without swapping completely to reversible Johnson’s

You need to grab the Tsunami 1100 pump and use that, as well as upgrade all your fill hoses to 1 1/8

I ended up swapping my center fill aerator pump , with a reversible Johnson on the center bag that fed into to bow bag. While technically the reversible pump was lower gph than the Tsunami aerator , the reversible Johnson was able to overcome the “back pressure” and keep a more consistent flow rate and filled both in almost half the time

This is what I was thinking of doing. I fill once in the weekend so speed isn't a massive issue, but thought the back pressure of pumping through the KGB to the bow sack might be. I was going to investigate a cheaper one way pump to fill and use the existing aerator to empty as presumably the head is acting in your favour when emptying anyway.
