And I'm back again debating keeping my boat or upgrading.

So I bought this 88 Prostar 15 years ago? Since then I've done everything from redesign the upholstery, put a killer stereo in, upgraded the engine top end to the GTII heads, added a tower, powder coated all the brackets, Detailed the boat out and now that I've done all that I start looking at boats. I actually spent $600 rewiring the boat to show condition on the stereo. It's a killer boat but now I'm inching towards something newer. I'm torn because I love this boat. It's 30 years old tomorrow and I get complement all the time on it. People never believe it's 30 years old. I'm scared of picking up something newer and having issues with it. Something my boat never has. I looked at the 07 X2. I want to get more into wake surfing than wake boarding.

if you can afford it, two boats! I am still kicking myself for selling my '83 S&S when I purchased my '04 X2 ...

Sounds like you bought the bot as a "project" and now its done?

Maybe you should tackle another project? Or do you want something complete and done?

I think you should pick up another project boat, and keep your current boat so you can actually get on the water in something nice.

Remember, you wont get out of the prostar what you have in it! Looks awesome though!

Why not look for a 205v project? Keep the current boat until you're done with the new one, then decide what you want to do.
