NXT Wakeboard Rack Needed

Hi Mastercraft Family,

I recently picked up a 2015 Mastercraft NXT20!! Unfortunately, this past weekend my marina (dry stack) ran the 1 wakeboard rack into the racking when putting the boat away for the evening. See attached. The fingers look unscathed, but bracket (arm holding the 2 fingers) is bend up. Anyone have one of these for sale? If not, I would also entertain 1 complete assembly (arm plus 2 fingers) to solve the problem.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ryan

I would say the marina is liable for a new rack assembly. I'd reach out to your MC dealer and order the needed parts (at the Marina's expense). Bending old one and trying to tap the old screws out is not optimal.

I second this, You probably could bend it but it probably won't be perfect. My neighbor had his boat run into by someones boat overnight at the end of the season, They covered full repair of the fiberglass damage(it just swim platform damage). I would push for that unless it is specifically stated on paper with your signature that they are not liable for it.

Appreciate the comments. In full disclosure, the wakeboard rack was not pinned into place (inside the boat) and swung out when the marina picked up the boat. Turns out, the part only cost $139 so I am going to replace it vs. mess with trying to bend in back in place.

Cheers,
Ryan
