NOT TRUE! I have lived in my home since 1976, and have never had a problem with any of my neighbors, new or old. We have nothing but great relations. I mind my business, and so do they.

Hate to say it but working in nyc has made me very calloused when it comes to be around swat or armed men. Seems everyday something is happening.

my house is up a hill - lots to be said for occupying the high ground...nobody likes to climb a hill to start trouble.

I had one 4 or 5 years ago that lived 1/4 mile from me that decided to kill his wife, teenage daughter, and dogs then set his house on fire. Took off and went and hid in the mountains a couple miles away in a homemade bunker he tunneled out in the side of the hill. Totally bonkers....we drove by as the house was just starting to burn and on the phone with 911 when the fire dept. rolled up. Another neighbor had already called 911. Needless to say when we returned home the entire area was blocked off and we couldn't return home for awhile. Police tracked the guy down a couple of days later and had his bunker surrounded while he decided to remove himself from society. Bunker was loaded with food and lots of guns and ammo. Crazy people out there....
