gstormberg, my boat cam from Travis at Mountain Lakes, it was used and they are good people to deal with.

Like everyone else said Maristar with a lot of options on it. I think if the "price" is the driving factor then make your decision on what best fits your budget. I do agree that the X boat will hold a better resale, but if there is enough money difference then it will be relative to what your buying.

Seems like he moves a fair amount of boats for their size.

Thanks to everyone with your expert advice. I have decided to go with the X2 and Jim (BAWS). The tough decision came when My wife wondered what color she looked best with.... I will send pictures once Jim delivers the boat.

Again Thanks
Greg

that's what I figured.... BUT it one can score a good deal on a used maristar and add all the extras and still come out ahead it could be worth it

Like I did with my 205V

I know what you're saying, my neighbor bought an '07 X-7 and he's a slalom guy so he wanted a 197 w/ all the 'X' options and it was more money so he got the X-7 instead....

You see my 06 was indeed born a maristar, and had all the X stuff added. This was done because I wanted what is refered to now as the switch graphics, and only Maristars could have that gel scheme. My 07 was born an X due to the fact that it was cheaper than a X'd out Mari, I just put those Maristar graphics on it.

hehe, the bottom line is, if the choice between a Maristar and an 'X' series boat is the toughest decision you have to make then life is GOOD
