Iím in the same boat. I live in Iowa so not a ton of Mastercrafts to choose from. Every deal I find is several hundreds or thousands of miles away. Shipping isnít too expensive, about $1 a mile is what I found for estimates. That being said I donít feel that great about buying a boat unseen in person. My 2002 Prostar 190 I drove to Milwaukee to pick up form a dealer, and it was in worse condition than was portrayed in the pics I was sent. I had already driven 10 hours one way so I felt compelled to buy. I was prepared to drive to Michigan last weekend for that 205, but it was listed Thursday and sold Friday morning.

Double D - nice boat!

Bartnich - if you can buy a boat from someone on here, that takes some of the unknown aspect out of it. If it was me and say Double D's boat was the one that you had to have you have basically two options:
1. Fly out to Ohio and rent a tow vehicle and tow it home.
2. Get in your truck and drive to Ohio and back.

Either way, you'll get a great boat, a little adventure, and a nice story out of the deal.

Good luck!

Yes, thank you. I contacted seller a couple weeks ago. There were some things I did not like about the boat, including his price expectations.....

^^ actually not too bad. Depending on price, engine and overall condition. Two seats look to be in nice, original condition.
