Have Wick go look at it.

Personally, I go look at everything... flown and driven all over the the country for boats.

But , this seems to be new and good condition.
I'm looked at this boat for a couple weeks now, looks great to me.

Good luck

Ive purchased my last 2 unseen. The first one went great just as described. Lots of communication. The second and most recent was from a TT'er. Here's the good and bad.

Good=
lots of communication

Bad=
many issues not disclosed and unable to see in pics. Pics were dated as well
no mechanical history
missing parts (not disclosed)
hours said were not the hours on the boat
LoooooNNNNNggggg drive to pick it up and return
many other issues I wont go into

This said Id never do it again. Id recommend looking at it first. If you cant look ask for a facetime call. let the owner k now that you'll be asking him / her to walk around in and out of the boat. open and close items. listen to it (stereo / motor). just be particular.

I thought because I was buying for a tt'er that things would be great. Comes to find out my standards are different than other peoples.

I wouldn't buy a used boat sight unseen. If you're having it shipped then fly out and take a look at it in person first. If you're planning on towing it home, driving there to pick it up before you've paid gives you a chance to see it before you regret your purchase. Even if it's $500 and time wasted on a flight or drive, that's still better than ending up with a boat that is less than you expected and a lot more cost out of pocket.

If the seller is in a hurry to sell or you're worried about someone else buying it out from under you, ask the seller if you can put a deposit down to hold it until you can see it in person.

Bought two boats from long distance traveled to see each of them. Over 8 hours drive from home both times. First one was just as described. Almost as perfect as the day it came off the showroom floor (for a 24 year old boat). Planned a vacation around it. The kids were 12 and 17, we all had a great experience. The second one was not in the condition advertised, and across the border. I nearly walked away. Not everyone has the same definition of excellent condition. Please listen to everyone here, We've been through it. Invest the time, check it out, run it in the water, negotiate a little more, tug it home and show it some love.

If you are spending that much money on a boat.. what's $500 for flight and hotel to see the boat first hand.

I have sold and bought sight unseen before, but it's a tough pill to swallow. If you can get a good dealer to work with you in the middle and confirm what you are hearing, then it's not quite as scary.

P.S. I also **almost** bought that boat a few months ago, but I never flew to see it. Good luck!

He’s been great about sending a walk around and video of the engine while running in driveway (via fresh water flush). May take the the advice of everyone and make a weekend of it in S Florida

There is a nightmare story on here about uShip. Boat held hostage, tons of gel damage from a loose shrink wrap when it was finally delivered. No way would I do that.

Buy a plane ticket and see the boat before buying. My buddy has that same boat and color combo, looks great.
Regarding shipping, ask your local dealers who they use, get the number and use them.

Bought my boat from Jim at BAWS, still flew from MI to Tampa to see it..
