I have a 2007 as well (X14 though) and am considering the upgrade.
My 06 had it pre-wired from the factory. Your boat should have it as well.

You were right, as usual. I found it behind the foot panel. White 9-pin connector and 1amp fuse.

Absolutely is. I went from mc cruise to stargazer pp. Best thing I've done to the boat.

Thought I'd mention that PerfectPass has a new software upgrade chip for their Stargazer units. It is not listed on their website, but it is for sale. It helps reduce the throttle surge at the gates/1ball. I think it's $50.

Anyone have any more "clarifying" information on just how easy it is? I too would like to go from MC CC to a GPS Perfect Pass system but have no idea how to go about it....is it literally just unplug the CC, plug in the PP remount in the dash then mount the GPS receiver and your done???

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated!!!

You wont need to do anything to the MC CC. It can stay connected.

All that should need to be done is:

You'll need to locate the mate-n-lock 9 pin connector.

Find a mounting location for the brain box.

Install the PP display.

Mount the GPS puck.

Connect the display to the brain box.

Connect the brain box to the 9 pin connector.

Connect the GPS to the brain box.

Done.
