2090 miles roundtrip from Milwaukee, WI to Denver, CO for our 98' 205 8-9 yrs ago. The boat was on Ebay and I called the guy and we struck a deal so he closed the Ebay ad. He was a stand up guy and the boat was exactly as he described. It is refreshing that there are still some good people out there. I can't say that about the guy in MI with the 95' we looked at first. Completely misrepresented the boat. 12+ hour waste of time and money...what an A-hole!

First boat - Bought on eBay from Rhode Island. I lived in Iowa at the time. My dad trucked out to RI with his semi to pick it up, brought it home to Indiana, and then I trailered it to Iowa from there. Luckily for me dad took the brunt of the trip. Would have been about 2400 miles round trip, if I had to drive it.

Second boat - Boat came from Wichita, KS, but I talked the guy into meeting me at Kansas City, which is about half way, and a round trip of about 400 miles.

This thread title cracks me up every time I look at it

Apparently I love my MC the least if distance is the measure...went 4.3 miles to a neighborhood up the road to get our beautiful 195.

Wife and I drove 1294 miles round trip on our anniversary in less than 30 hours. It was a long but great anniversary trip and well worth it in the end. GREAT deal at the time

Not far really. Went from just outside Memphis up to just north of Nashville, Tn. to get ours. Maybe just over 400 miles round trip.

Over 3200 miles round trip Minnesota to Orlando and back 16 years ago. Wife cut the corner to tight pulling up to a gas pump in the middle of the night coming home and crunched the trailer fender into the pole at the end of the island. Yes, I kept the boat in the divorce.

6.8 miles round trip! Dealer was right down the hill from my place. BUT right after I picked it up I went on a vacation to NY (san diego to New York) does that count?
