Overton's

With the bankruptcy and closure of Gander Mountain stores what will happen with Overton's?

I have read that Camping World is taking over a limited amount of the Gander locations but since Overton's is owned by Gander I'm not sure how this will play out.

Any insight??????

Was told that CW was going to use Overton's and keep it running.

Good, I'm glad they will stay in operation.

I've been told anywhere from 15 to 80 Gander Mountain stores will be left open after the liquidation. They will start swapping out the product to make room for CW stuff.

Not only is CW planning to keep Overton's up and running, they are actually going to start opening brick and mortar locations. Supposedly starting in VA.

That is unexpected, but cool if it happens. Where did you here this?

I used to always order stuff from Overton's but I find they tend to be a more expensive. However, there are times when they offer sales and free shipping and then they can compete. I would imagine a store of there size could do something to get free two day shipping.

20% sale going on today for Cinco de Mayo, and free shipping on orders over $25. I like Overton's personally, they seem to have a good selection of general boating stuff. Hope they remain that way.
