My problem is the dealer can't find those tires anymore to replace them (ST195 75 D14). They tried a similar tire but they left only 3/4" to the wheel well which would be a problem. I'm boat less until we figure something out. Lowering the axle to create room isn't a viable option as I am limited to getting through a 6'-11.5" garage door opening.

Any help out there? I'd prefer not to have to deflate them to pull in and out...

Also thoughts on tire pressure? I'd always been taught to run them at max pressure when under load and I'm guessing the X-10 with trailer is at 6500lbs minus tongue weight when fueled up.

Peter, Where are you?

Thanks Peter! Any thoughts on the tire pressure? Where should we be running our tires at?

Tire Help

You are welcome.
When the proper tires are used, max psi is my recommendation. In your case, you might try a little less pressure. Keep in mind the smaller tires are narrower than the ST205/75R14 tires that came stock, thereby having a smaller footprint, so there is more load on the tire.

Adjust tire pressure to get even wear.
