garage depth for x2

Hi all. New to the forum and hopefully new to the MC team in the near future. Looking to buy a 2009-2011 x2 in the near future and trying to figure out if it will fit in my garage. I have been given different numbers by 3 different people regarding the shortest length possible with swing tongue collapsed, swim platform off, etc. Problem is that my garage is only 20 feet, 8 inches deep. it is a double width door and has 93 inches of vertical clearance so I'm not worried about width or height. I guess I can always put it in on a diagonal but moving it around by hand on a tandem axle trailer won't be easy and I really don't want to take up the entire garage with the boat. Anybody know the minimum requirement for garage depth to make one of these boats fit? Thanks in advance.

I have an 07 X2 wth a Sport boat trailer, (non MC trailer)
Swim deck off, tongue folded, I’m 22’ on the dot for minimum garage depth.
It fits through a 7’ high 9’ wide size door.

Just measured my '07 X2 with tandem axle MC trailer. Folded tongue to end of the exhaust tips is 21'-3". Now an '09 - '11 probably does not have the chrome exhaust tips, so it would be about 3" less.

You could probably get it to fit if you had the trailer tongue modified to move the swing position back 12 - 14".

I have a 2010 with gen 1 tabs on a single axle MasterCraft trailer. Mine measures roughly 21’7” with the platform folded down. My garage door is 82” tall and I have to remove part of the board rack to get through the door. If it was an actual 7’ talk door I wouldn’t have to do that.

Thanks for the info guys. Hadn't thought about modifying the trailer. That may be just the ticket. Either way, we're getting a new boat so I either have to make it fit or find a safe/dry place to store it in the winter.
