We got into racing here when they built a BMX track in town. Never did it as a kid. Our kids loved it. I raced. My wife raced a little bit. We did it for 3 or 4 years. Not the old school stuff, but good times.

I still have my bmx GT racing bike that I got as a kid. Its at me my parents house and I ended up giving it to my nephew.

Pauls bike was on Veterans Highway and there was another real good store either off Power Blvd or Willams Blvd and I-10. had a few bike from both.

My younger brother had his early 80's Cook Bros Racing bike in my folks storage shed. My Dad sold it for $40.00 when they were liquidating their assets to downsize and move. There's a lesson for you youngsters. If you have anything valuable at your parent's house...better get it!

When I was 5 my parents bought me a red mini goose. When I was 9 the bought me a Raliegh and when I was 12 they bought me a Diamond Back.
