Stolen Boats

Ya ya SAN's but it's the right thing to do to help a local dealer.

You do wonder why trackers are not placed on all boats. But the balls this takes.. Or its a marketing ploy.

Some serious balls. What the hell do you do with a stolen boat? Ship it overseas?

And they're so plain looking.....

Those won't be too hard to spot on the road.

Apparently they drove east. Away from the nearest coast.

If it was me. Tow a few hours to a shipping container. Get them off the roads and hidden away on private property. Wait a few months. Ship them.

But these guys/gals apparently are towing one at a time towards Winnipeg. East from Edmonton.

At the very least get them wrapped. Trailers wrapped or painted. Fabricate hull id's and trailer registration and get state side. But hopefully they are smarter than I. Lol.

They'll find their way oversees, where they'll never be heard from again. Boosting 1 boat could be a couple stupid thieves pressing their luck. Boosting 4...I'd bet pros who's game plan was set in motion long ago.

Still can't get over the balls this takes. I'm not proud to say, but I've lifted a lot of things in my younger life. Even stole a cop car... Story over a few beer. I will say. Didn't end well - hahaha. Ya that shouldn't have suprised me. But this. This takes serious coordination and planning (especially to not get caught).

It's possible but unlikely they will succeed.

That's what's I would assume they would do.

What I don't get is regardless of what you do with them, they will be registered as stolen and when anyone tries to buy them, they will get caught. Unless they ship them overseas.

I don't get how four boats like this get out of a dealer at all.

my guess is these went only miles before being loaded into a container and on separate trucks to the coast.
