There are already a couple of Harley themed gelcoats out there.
My wife calls them "Halloween boats"

If it's just a wrap, who cares have fun with it

A little orange goes a long way on a boat. Here is my Prostar with HD coloring. Personally not a Harley guy but I do like the color combo!

Jersey we should get our boats together some time and maybe they could have some"alone" time. The outcome would have to be a Harley edition!

I echo the others... not my thing, but its your boat so go for it. I would suggest sitting down with someone that designs wraps and go that route. At the very least it can be removed before selling.

I'm not sure how aggressive Harley is at defending their mark but if you pay a wrap shop to create anything with their logo, they could be pursued by Harley for trademark infringement. In that case he wrap shop is profiting from a representation of a trademark they do not own.

Harley revenued $66M in the last quarter on licensed apparel and accessories - big biz !

It's your toy, do what you want with it. Taking off the MC decal and emulating the second truck posted earlier in the thread would be subtle and look pretty sharp IMO.

I would do something subtle and avoid using the Harley logo to not deal with the legality aspect. Doesn't mean you cant do something custom H.D related.

I agree.

I know, then let's next do an "Eddie Bauer" edition X-Star. Then we could do a "Disney" edition X-Star......then a "Corvette" edition X-Star (oops, that was done already)...I mean a "Mustang" edition X-Star......and then let's flip it and do a "Ford F-150" edition X-Star....how about a "Net Flix" edition X-Star (we could put TV's all over it playing all the Net Flix origina programs on them!)......

The possibilities are endless.
