Bad day at dry dock

Well, I have had my boat for one month and we went out yesterday. I arrived at the marina and was told that they bumped my boat putting it in. They have assured me they will take care of it. I believe they will. I have had a boat at this marina for 7 years. They hit the swim platform with the elbows of the fork lift. There are three areas that need repair, with the obvious larger area.

My thoughts are a new swim platform instead of repairs. The swim platform in gunmetal flake is $540 according to my build sheet. I cannot see them repairing this for less than that. It was $400 to repair a gouge in the side of my old boat and it was a much easier repair.

What are your thoughts?
