X24 Order

Iím pleased to announce that Iíve locked down my 3rd Mastercraft! Iíve progressed from a 2007 X15 to a 2016 X46 and just placed an order for a 2019 X24 with a late August build date. I hope to have the boat by Sep 12th. I was really torn with the engine option. Iím coming from a 7.4 in my 46 to a 6.2. I had a really hard time justifying going a step down, but after test driving my local dealerís X24 with a 6.2 I just couldnít justify the cost of the 7.4. Iím really hoping I donít regret that decision. Other than that every other option Iíve chosen I think will make this a great boat. One thing I noticed that I was a little disappointed in. Iím coming from a low profile tandem trailer with the 46, and unfortunately due to the weight of the 24 the only way to get a low profile trailer is to go triple Axle. Also, when did MC get rid of stainless steel tread plates on the trailer??? The only options on their trailer now are back to the rubber tread plates... seems a bit ridiculous considering what the trailers cost. Other than that Iím really pumped about this boat and canít wait to dial in the surf wake! See below for my build. I will note that it says midnight black on the trailer, but I did change that to navy blue to match the boat.

Has anyone else put their X24 orders in yet? Would love to see your build.

Very interested to hear your review, contemplating a switch from our fully ballasted X46 to a new X24 as well.

Major drawbacks I've found so far though:
- no double driver flip seat
- no Bodensee certification for any of the available engines
- real world weight with trailer will be hard to keep below 7700lbs which is horrible legislation wise in Germany
- old power tower with my custom Z5 Bimini will not be possible

I got my order finalized 3 weeks ago, and went with the 6.2 also. This will be our 3rd Mastercraft and first time to order a new one. Had that motor in our x45 and loved it! Can't wait. Hoping to get some build pics soon.... Having a little trouble connecting with crew at Mastercraft anyone know who I should contact? Thx
