I like the new ones but prefer the old style when there wasn't much plastic.

83 CJ7, 350/SM455/NP205, custom interior, Laredo grill. See if you can see the speaker grill in the dash.

Wow that is awesome. I have been on the fence of finding an older jeep and trying to minimally fix it up. My wife is finally okay with the idea so I have been looking. Its hard finding ones that look this good....

Wow, that's a beautiful jeep! Would love to have one like that someday.

Love it. I had a '78 CJ7 that I took down to the frame and re-did. Then the frame rotted out from the inside and I was on to other projects.

I know a place that has a few of those that are fully restored. But the kicker is they are selling them for 40-50K.....

yeah that the problem. To get an older jeep that has been updated is about the same price as a newer jeep. However, when the older jeep has an LS3, it may be worth it.

Every year at the Ft. Lauderdale boat show, a company by the name of Overbuilt Customs brings two or three jeeps that they completely redo.

They had an older one with and LS3 and a newer 4 door jeep with a Hemi. They are incredible machines, its just hard to justify the cost.
