WTB MC Powerstar

We have had 2 boats forever: an inboard to ski behind, an outboard to go up and down the river we live on to hang at the beach. Hoping to simplify my life a bit, and get down to one boat. Feel that the Powerstar will fit the bill.

Powerstar 200

We bought a 1997 Powerstar 200 last fall after 3 years of looking for one and the wife finally said yes. We had a smaller closed bow Larson outboard since I was a 15 (47 now) & needed more room for the family and more speed for barefooting & skiing. The Powerstar is a perfect blend of family boat (open bow, removable middle seats & back bench seat), speed and wake characteristics for our 10 year old son who slalom skis and barefoots. Our 4 year old daughter tubes behind the boat & skis on the barefoot boom as well. We love our boat & would recommend one for someone looking for a family ski/barefoot boat!

You will find Powerstars for sale between 14-18K. Be aware that they typically sell fast as they were only made in 1997-1999 (I tried to buy 2 other boats before we bought one and lost out because they sold in a couple days). I bought our boat only seeing about 5 pictures & traveled from Minnesota to Seattle to buy it. Feel free to send me an IM if you want to talk about any details!
