I saw the bid at $40k and was pretty shocked. That may have just been the starting bid, I didn't really pay close attention.

I think he'd be lucky to get half that.

Iím no expert, but I feel like you could build something better for less. Stupid to not sell it upwards of 40k.

4L80e beefier tranny, stronger front axle and Dana 60 rear end. A lot of dollars right there for just the material......Plus the install and fab to make it all work!

Could do a single turbo 6.0 with forged internals and a built 4L80e for less than 23k though.

Appears to be a very high quality build with no shortcuts. Probably be tough to build it for 40K, even if you did the work yourself. A 3 year old GMC Yukon will run in the mid 40's, I think I'd just as soon have the Vette powered Chevrolet. It would be unique to drive, if nothing else.

looks like a great finished project, being said 50 cents for every dollar spent is considered top dollar
