Can't wait.

I'm learning how to edge through my X1 wake better. My wife is hitting it flat and it'll boot ya up and over the second wake that way. I'd love to soften up the wake with a plate.

I have the same boat except mine is a 05 i upgraded to the GPS stargazer PP SYSTEM about a month ago if your looking to ski behind this boat I found 34mph is the prime number. I didn't read this whole thread just the first few post but we mainly just wakeboard & surf behind ours.

I'm hanging to hear how successful this was. I have an 04 X2 and even when empty, she will porpoise slightly at anything over 32mph But at 35mph it is uncontrollable. I've been in other 205v variants and find that they all seem to behave a little differently. My wake is a different shape to a friends old X1 with exactly the same weight. There must have been a few different molds that were used to produce these hulls.
I don't often tow a footer, but if i do its only for about 1 minute because the boat bounces violently. I am hoping that if I install a trim tab this will go away, also hoping to be able to run full ballast (#2000 ) with the plate down a little bit and have a clean wake at slower speeds. Currently need to go at 23mph, and many people find that too fast.
