FWIW, I also have a Carbon V and love it, but I've never tried the Radar. Connelly has always been such a stable ski for me that it may be mental at this point though.

Here's more from three years ago:

Buy this (or one like it).
I fit your description and riding style exactly. I’ve been riding this same ski since last spring and absolutely love it!

FYI - the bindings on that HO are discontinued. Not sure if parts will be available in the event you need any.

I found the picture, a few years ago. We had a house on a small private lake.
The current, mid grade skis....are much better, than we can ski. This is from early 1970s.

You definitely want to do a demo.... I really liked the Connelly V. I think the V has a little more flex to it than the carbon V which I was a fan of esp when going from course to free skiing. I am not a tournament skier either, but ski about the same speeds and rope length you do. The V likes faster speeds in my opinion and has a very smooth feel at the faster speed.

For some reason I did not like the feel of the Radar I tried. It felt too much like a 2x8.

Only experience with the HO is the freeride which is much different any what you would want or are looking for. Good luck.

I would avoid getting something with too much flex... Ever notice how your ski responds 10x better in the spring / fall? I think it's because the cooler water/air temps make the ski stiffer and less flexible.

There's an obvious joke there, but it's too easy. So I'll just leave it, at that.
