Lake home for sale Northern Wisconsin

All you fibs and cheeseheads, anyone looking for a getaway on the perfect ski lake, check this out.
http://www.hilgartrealty.com/store/p9details2140.php

Built in 2000. Well maintained, only 10 miles of paved road from town.
It's on Bass Lake, outside of Park Falls. Bass Lake is about 100ac, deep, spring fed, public lake that is almost a private lake. Only a handful of year round residents and 10 or so summer cabins. Public boat launch is poor which keeps the general public off the lake and the fishing is good! Panfish, largemouth and muskies.
No power boating restrictions.
4 season fun. Easy sno machine access from the front door to Price County trails and minutes from the Chequamegon Natl Forest.

Shoreline at the house is essentially un-improved, but is a natural sand, zero entry, shallow slope lake bottom out to 6-7' deep. Perfect for swim beach, tieing up a raft in the deeper water, etc.

Finished living area includes a 24' tall cathedral ceiling great room, sun-room/dining room, 1 formal bedroom, 2 full baths and a large finished loft that could easily be 2 bedrooms or a big game room. Huge walk in closets and pantry. Unfinished 1600 sf + walkout basement has plumbing stubbed for a 3rd full bath. Finish the basement and this 2000sf home will be a 3 bath, 3500 sf +, up to 4-5 bedroom getaway.
2-1/2 car garage is heated, with sink and central floor drain. 26' deep to fit your boat.
Good producing well and modern septic designed for 5 bedroom house.
Over 2 acres, with room for additional outbuildings. Lot next door to it could be available for purchase as well.

House has been occupied full time since new, until a couple months ago. Currently winterized.

That is impressive. Tons of stuff to do in all seasons in Park Falls. Everything outdoors is at your fingertips. Mike you would love taking a sled out to dinner instead of driving in a car. And Spring and Fall are outstanding too.

That is a gorgeous pad! Boy, the taxman doesn't mess around in that area, apparently.

I could retire to that. All I'd have to do to be happy is to buy a sled. Taxes are not that bad - LoL.

That's a really good price though. That couldn't buy a three season, 1 bedroom, 750 square foot cottage on 0.38 of an acre on the Manitowish Chain...

I'm biased but that's an understatement...

^ I think so too.
Doesn't have the traffic that the Manitowish or Minocqua chains have, but it also doesn't have the traffic of the bigger lakes. Noone washing out your shoreline with big cuddys or surfing. I'd almost bet no one has even wake surfed on the lake.

Not a fire sale by any means, would love to vacation there...or even live there. Just not in the cards. Kind of a hike from Seattle!

If someone is looking for a quiet getaway, this is it. We know probably 80% of the people that live within 5 mi of there and it's just a nice area with NO tourist traffic.

FWIW, I hadn't fished the lake in over 10 years. Spent about 2 hours out there this summer one morning and it lived up to it's name. Cranked in 5 or 6 largemouths like they were waiting to be caught!
