Ski pylon issue

So the previous owner of my 78 stars and stripes skier removed the cross post (not sure of the terminology) from the top of my pylon in order to use a Fly High pole. Any ideas on finding one or do I need to go get a section of 1/2" aluminum stock and try and retrofit? I'd really like to have it back to original. Thanks in advance!

You may have to scrounge, but there are a few parts/salvage S&S that come through here and CL every once and awhile. Check the for sale section here at TT. GL, the S&S is a great tug.

Parting Out 1985 Mastercraft Stars and Stripes
Hey guys I am parting out a 1985 Mastercraft S&S non powerslot. The boat was backed into by a truck damaging the fiberglass sides. Boat was in rough shape when I acquired it. Not worth it to fix the hull and did not want to take on the project myself. Please inbox me with any parts that you need along with offers. Everything on the boat must go.

If anyone is interested in the trailer or anything else just let me know and I can get more pictures.

Here is a link to a few pictures I took.

Fab shop can do it. They either have a set screw or are knurled to fit the hole.
