2015 TOUCHSCREEN "Ghosting"

My X20 has this going on.
Renders Boat not usable for WakeSports until remedied. Bummed.
It can actually lock you out of other functions unless you kill batteries and re-boot.

MC dealer asked that I Video problem to help with Service Tech and Factory Warranty.

searched on here and found a few others that had it happen. Looks rare and it seams Mastercraft does fix issue with Screen Problems both in and out of Warranty, by swapping the Screen out.

really hoping to get it fixed quickly,I can't really use boat without screen other than Cruise.

Here is the Video for those that may not know if they have an issue.

one of the biggest reasons for choosing MasterCraft. My personal history demostrates Both, the Factory and the Dealer have always backed up the product.
I guess my real concern is time lost. My season is typically over by the end of June early july.
Hoping for a quick turn around when they get the Part in.

Mine did this with the tabs and at 20 mph it would deploy the tabs and speed up or slow down.

Took video like you did and it was replaced the next week. Haven't had a problem since.

if you have a dealer that's close and have the video (which you do), the warranty switch is very quick. I brought mine to teh dealer on a Monday and a new screen was installed on Thursday.

thanks Dave, I think I saw your thread researching this and was already to try to video when the dealer aked if I could . Good to see you were also taken care of.

My new Dealer "CaliMarine" is very cool. , But they are overwhelmed with new Inventory and short on space for repairs /boats.

So I offered to do the video to cut down on time my boat is on there lot. I got a bad Ballast pump and a small belt/pump squeak too... but those are lower on my "must fix" list.

I had exactly the same problem with a 2016 X10. Literally exact same problems. Rendered the boat unusable as well as unsafe until I cycled the battery with the Perko switch. I took videos like you did, sent them to my dealer. Dealer replaced screen over the winter, and havn’t tester it since. Hoping the new screen fixes the problem or I don’t know what I’ll do! But the screen should fix it, I don’t doubt that at all!

I'm sure they will get it fixed easily.

My dealer told me that if something happens on the boat to video it because sometimes things don't always replicate when they do it at the dealership. Since then, I have always taken this approach because its hard to dispute that and saves them time. Usually they will just forward your video straight to the MC warranty department.

As handy as you are, the dealer could probably get you the screen and you could just switch it out. Only a few bolts and connection to change out.

If you notice in the Video my cruise was set to 60mph, ramped the speed to that by itself while I was behind the boat Trying to Surf. My wife was driving and quickly grabbed throttle before we got over 20mph.
Needless to say, I rode up on the platform with my board.
On the upside ... I never got fully wet.
