Question about a Supra

I am considering buying a supra, and know this forum gets a lot of traffic from a lot of people that know a lot about boats.

It is a 1995 Supra LaBrisa. It has been professionally redone to look like a brand new boat. I attached pictures so you can see how well it looks. They said the old hours gauge showed 226 hours.

My question is how much is a boat like this worth? What is a good price for me to offer?

Do you think this is a good choice? I know I'm on a forum full of mastercraft lovers, but this is a beautiful boat for the year it is...

I would think somewhere in the low 12's would be a fair price.

What are you trying to do with the boat? Ski, Board, or surf? Family boat? How big of a body of water will you use it on?

We will be on Norris Lake, which is a land locked lake, but pretty big in size (34,000 acres of water surface). This will be an all around boat. Family/Wakeboard/Surf possibly (If this happens, going to get fat bags to fill a corner up.)

Construction will be fine, but double check the year they went to composite stringers. 1995 is cutting it close. Should be a PCM marinization, which will be excellent (can't recall exactly when they switched to Indmar, which is fine as well. For cruising around and family fun, it should be a nice boat. I have not been particularly impressed with the ski wakes of that era of Supra Comp, however. So I don't expect the LaBrisa to be better in that regard. As for surf and wake board wakes, I think I'll let someone with experience weigh in.

As for value, I'd be surprised if it was selling in the $12K range. I'd have guessed closer to $9k. But I'll profess no expertise on that particular model.

My brother in law has a 99 Supra Comp. It has been a good boat, but has some shortcomings in my opinion.

I'm with Eastie on the price. 12 seems high to me for a 95 supra...
