This is our new Summer fun! We plan on skiing it this summer and shes gonna get total restoration in the winter. I have already spent over 100 hours just cleaning and getting her to this point. The po was NOT kind to her.

Looking good Ski - your hard work is paying off. No sign of neglect seen. Where in Wisconsin are you? I have brothers on Rice Lake and Manson Lake near Rhinelander.

Beautiful boat! The white dash looks cool. Is that original in those boats?

Yep, white dash was original untill 1999 or so. I had a 1998 prostar and it was white also. The black really cuts down on the glare tho.

Anyone ever use rope inside the rubrail instead of the black plastic stuff?

I believe the black dash was introduced in 1988 or 89' I know for sure the 89' had it. Your gel coat looks to be in nice shape! Keep up the great work and enjoy!!!

Yep, your right! I just re-read my last post and I got the years off! I had an 89' that had a white dash and side windows that still opened but I have seen 89's with black dash and windows that did NOT open!

Great looking boat man, I love the white dash looks sweet!

As for the insert I have not seen that before, but I recently did the normal plastic/rubber insert on my 83 and its not bad at all. Just use the hot water bucket trick and remember once you start you cannot stop!

Thanks O3geetee, I was just looking for something different, our last boat had a rope in it and I really liked it! I still have the plastic trim I took out of it but it's pretty beat up and I heard it's pretty big $$ to get new stuff!
