I have a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500,5.3, and I love it 145 thousand miles with no problems,
Plus, I bought it Brand new off the dealer lot for 23 thousand, O interest for 5 years, Back in 2003.

I like the GMC's front clip better than chevy's, The 03 GMC has a Happy face with that bumper.
The only about the front end that sucks is the Plastic GMC Sierra Front Bumper Cover
When I go 4X4 in the woods or in the 2 to 4 ft or more Snow the Darn Plastic bumper cover
Drags snow drifts and rocks and Burms.
I meant the new ones. They go back n forth. Some years gmc looks better some years Chevy imo
03-07=gmc
01-02 liked Chevy clip better
07-14/15 GMC

Personally I do not like the look Of the newer ones either Chevy or GMC to me they look like a Square Box, Im not impressed.
My 2003 GMC is paid off, And performs just fine for me, with no payments.
I just pulled the boat to the lake today and was saying to my self, This is a nice ride.

I have a '17 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with the 6.2L and my dad has a '16 Chevy Silverado 1500 High Country and we both likely my GMC better. It rides a little smoother, is quieter on the highway and generally just like the trim package better. The towing performance is equivalent though

Correct. When you lift 6" or higher and put large, flashy, non-stock wheels on your truck it then renders the truck a brodozer.

However I am not an expert in this field. MC25 has a lot of experience and can assist in any "brodozing" design and sourcing efforts.

YES! I forgot about the painted suspension components! Bright red, green, or blue will suffice.

Good call!

I did GMC as it seemed a bit more upscale. 71/2 years later, I'd buy another one.

Do they both come with the rear air lift. I have 2015 Yukon xl Denali 2wd and the air lift alone makes it a much better tow vehicle. No back end bounce around. The power is great but my 14 Silverado with 5.3l pulls just fine but the back end bounce sucks. Thatís pulling the 06 X-30.

Thatís a good point.
That seems like a great feature for a tow truck to have!
