I am looking at the same boat (92 Prostar 190). The seller says it has the 351 (Carburetor) but he list the motor option as 350-400HP and 5.7-8.1; that is a $3000 upgrade on nadaguides. I am confused on the 10 engine options on nadaguides.com. Isn't the 351 with Carb the stock motor? Wish it was EFI.

240 or 285 hp for 351.....

92 should be the 285 hp but I don't see the stickers on the spark arrestor cover.

92 came in both a 240hp standard motor and 285hp HO....

Interior going in. I also pulled the throttle apart and cleaned and lubricated everything. Getting close..

Go up a model year or 2 for the EFi. I will be honest, EFI is great but a properly cared for carb sound not be a reason to turn away from a prostar.

Having a 94 TBI EFI boat I live in fear of a dead mefi computer every year.
