Good stuff thanks guys! Why would a shorter boat have a better wake?

Really you canít go wrong with either the XT23 or the XT22. Everything comes down to personal preferences (traditional vs pickle fork). We have an 2017 XT23 (6000 GDI) with about 25 hours on the boat. Right boat at the right time. I will say the XT22 would not not fit in our garage unless it was on a low profile trailer. Iím with you, I wanted a versatile piece of machinery that will surf, wake, ski, and tow for my kids (6 and 3). Iím still dialing in the surf wake but I absolutely love our XT23.

New boat pricing isnít really allowed to be posted on here. 20-22% off MSRP is average.

You can ski, wakeboard and surf with ease. The wave is good out of the box but like mc25 said, the extra ballast helps. The only problem with it is the rear lockers arenít as big as the x30ís are. There is no way your gonna get 1100ís in the lockers of an xt23. They come stock with 400ís in the lockers and that takes probably 90% of the room up when they are loaded to surf. For the beginner surfers learning, the stock wave is more than awesome. Hit me up if you have any questions, Iíll do my best to help answer what questions I can.
We have had our new to is XT23 out once. Starboard surf wave was wonderful. Port side very steep, even with the mellow setting. Stock ballast. Thoughts?

^^^This^^^

Though I'd say 20 - 22% is a very good deal.

Keep specifics to PM's

We bought it at the end of the summer 2017; they were already building out the 2018 XT23. The Team Talk people are right about not discussing price. 20-22% off MSRP is the number you should be looking for.
