From The Makers of The Delta

New Mission bumpers with adjustability. Neat idea if you ask me.

Full disclosure: Mission did R&D on the Delta on my boat and I'd like to see them succeed.

Great idea, but price point I'm thinking might be high compared to others out there that do the same and tie with knots

Yep, I agree, that's their biggest hurdle at this point.

When these guys came out with the Delta, I thought, wow... great product, missed the price point big time.

It's happening again. In fact, most of their products they release are fantastic, innovative, and useful products... they just keep swinging and missing on the price point.

When I can buy this thing for $22 dollars, the delta between purchasing this and their Sentry product is too much to overcome the pain of tying a knot. In fact, I think having an open ended rope gives you more flexibility than their fixed attachment system. My cleats are never in the right place on my boat for fenders. Cleats are good for tying the boat up, but not attaching fenders IMO.

Cool product, but another swing/miss on price point.

I guess the next question is: at what price is it worth it?

$40? $50?

$35 each and I'd probably be a buyer over the fenders I linked to in my earlier post. And that should include shipping.
