Item description says for imdmar 5.7. Claims itís been tested.
Ask if it includes an IAT (Intake Air Temp sensor)- if it does, it may do the trick but honestly, if you're adding more than 1000lb of water and a few people, it's probably going to be tough to find the right combo unless you can have a bunch of props to test, too.

with the IAT “sensing” cooler air, the ECM will add extra timing since an engine is less likely to experience pre ignition in cooler air

Have you tried the ACME 1285 14.5x14? I can run almost 3k lbs of ballast/people and it gets on plane with little issue. Since I switched I don't even bother with the GSA launch mode. IMO it's the all around best prop for the MCX for surfing and wakeboarding with lots of ballast. My boat is a bit smaller and maybe you're running more ballast so your mileage may vary.

That said no one on this forum would shun more power. If you've got the money to upgrade to a star with a 6.0 - 8.1 that will certainly get it done.

I'd give Eric at OJ Props a call and see what he can do for you.

Also to note: The Indmar Magnum is NOT the same as the MCX so that tuner isn't even for you engine.

Yeah, thanks. This tuner can be used by multiple engines. This tuner does only a basic function, it does not allow you to change multiple limiters (which is good, wouldnít want to) like some that are designed for specific engines
