did the carpet come out from under the seat support easy or did you have to use like a crow bar or other device to lift it up to get the carpet out.. i see in one pick it was just cut but I assume you went back and took it out out... maybe a spatula or some other trick?

I left all the carpet the seat. I am only replacing the carpet that is exposed (bow and cockpit areas). No need to take the carpet out from under the seats, it is pristine as it never sees the light of day or people's feet.

Hope that helps.

That's good news. We were planning on leaving the carpet under the seats as well if we do this conversion.

I replaced my carpet with Deckadence and used Jims. I sent him the template in plastic and he cuts the sheets to fit and also put a stencil on (X15 in my case) in whatever colour you want. I did mine as a single piece and getting to the access opening for the centre plug is easy.

End result is night and day difference for me. No soggy carpet, soft on the feet, drains and washes easy, simple to remove, looks great. I suggest getting it professionally cut but I know others have just bought the sheets and cut themselves as well. Very happy with Jim and the product.

Guns,. I have a table mount in middle of th floor and we use it from time to time. With this material would you cover it and cut out 3/4 of a circle as a flap? Cut the circle and leave it exposed or just cover completely?

The material doesn't seem to fray so a flap or hole would likely work.

The Deckadance flooring is done and I think it looks and feels great. Here are some pictures. I can get more but I was in hurry to get the boat back on the lift and head out to an appointment.
