what sizes are the ends that you all need?
A good source, but the problem is that the required tubing is not the same diameter at either end. 5/16" vs. 3/8"

Somebody please get a length measurement. This thread has been going on way to long to not have all parts sourced.

I don't have an exact measurement . . . but here's a pic of the OEM hose (which I reused) from when I did mine in the spring. Maybe 8-9"? You can approximate by the size of the pump, the pliers, etc.

I've been searching around for a part list to put a spare kit together, I've got 580 hours on my MCX, I figure it is only a matter of time. Great thread, thanks for all the info.

Found this on Amazon for the internal flex hose:

https://www.amazon.com/Brand-Flexibl.../dp/B00LPX1JHY

BMW Part# 16 13 1 455 350

Looks close, 5/16" ID on both ends, looks like it can be trimmed on either end for length. Cost is a bunch more than the APE hose, but at least an alternative.

Also found this:

https://www.amazon.com/Gates-27086-S.../dp/B005806IXA

Gates Part# 27086

Description says 1/4" ID x 12" SAE 30R10 submersible hose but the reviews are mixed, some say they got 5/16" ID instead. All seem to say it is only 10" long.

Any thoughts on which would be best, APE hose or one of these?

I carry both in my onboard toolbox. Got them from APE USA.com. Just remember that regardless of which ID you get, one end will be too small or too large.

2003 x9 with MCX. 360hrs.

I read most of the posts in the first 35 pages (of 80 pgs) of this thread, then much of the information started to repeat. Nothing short of absolutely outstanding info!!

I'm going to attempt to swap out my pump, but, as dumb as it sounds, need to make sure I actually have a PUMP problem first. Also, I plan to check the shrader valve, but again want to make sure I have an actual pump problem.

Symptoms: boat idles for a few mins then will just cut off (motor stops). It restarts with no problem. It will stop like this while underway, too, at least at low speeds. I have not tried it at higher speeds. It has only stopped a few times and boat was running fine before that (I've only out one hour on the motor since buying it though.

Most of what I read makes it seem that when a fuel pump goes out, the boat won't restart at all. So, do I have a possible fuel pump issue at all?

Don’t rule out the pig tail connector that goes to the fuel pump. I had same type of symptoms and replaced mine 2 years ago and problem went away.

The first time my fuel pump went out, it would pump just enough for the engine to idle. It got me back to the launch, but if I attempted anything over idle it would die.

Don't rule out a bad pump but don't assume it either. Get a cheap fuel pressure gauge (if you don't already have one) and put it on the schrader valve. Check pressure at idle, then increase throttle. If the pressure is low to begin with, or drops when you increase throttle, you will know for sure.
