U.F.O.'s Who's seen them?

A buddy of mine and two friends saw one a few nights ago in CO. I saw one about 5/6 years ago at Lake Powell. The one I saw was silver and had a triangular shape to it. Just caught a glimpse of it before it "saw me" and retracted in a split second. The reason I say "saw me" is because as soon as I looked up it went straight away from us. I am guessing it was 3-5K feet up and disappeared away so fast I could not tell if it was straight edges to the triangle sides. If I had to say, I would think the edges were not exactly straight and had a bit of a curve inward but it was a really quick thing. Had only my first beer and had been on the lake only about 1/2 hour, so please no comments about being under the influence. It was large for the distance involved and was gone in a flash. No one else aboard saw this as they were facing toward me. Nobody will ever convince me that it was a reflection. It was something, either Govt., or not of this world. Anybody else want to share their story since it isn't ski season and we are all tired of the snow already?

Silent, or noisy? At Lake Powell, you were awfully close to a lot of military bases, so I would be surprised if it wasn't one of ours.

No sound at all. At the Bullfrog (N. end of Lake Powell in UT), but at the speed that thing went it would have been in space in a second or two.

We just had the space station pass over Virginia tonight around 6:30pm. My wife and I watched it from our deck and she swears that it “had to be a plane because it was too close”. When I asked her “How close was it?” she said, “I don’t know”. Judging by the light reflected from the space station, and the speed it was traveling, it did look like it was only a mile or so in the air. On average the station is about 220 miles above the earth and traveling around 17,000 mph. All of this just confirms what my Dad always said (retired Meteorologist). If you don’t know the speed or distance an object is away from you, you cannot begin to estimate the size the object. I know it was the space station, but to my wife it was a U.F.O.

saw one 30 plus years ago over leech lake in northern Minnesota . leech is basically a 109,000 acre resevior . there were 10 of us camping when some strange lights appeared over the lake . we watched for a couple minutes as it seemed to circle the back part of the lake and then pulled a truck onto the bluff over the lake and started flashing high beams . actually got the thing to respond and change colors as it came closer the in the blink of an eye and with no noise it streaked across the sky and disappeared totally a believer that we are not alone .

Actually, that's the Easter Bunny, but they look a lot alike. Big Foot is on vacation in Hawaii.

My favorite is when the size of a reported UFO is said to be the size of a 747 or an aircraft carrier. 747-400 length is 232'............Nimitz-class carrier length is 1,092'.
