Surefoot does a great job on there shell to liner system. I have a few buddy's that rave about them. In fact a have one that has about 600 +/- days in his liners. He says they still feel awesome.

Nice set up!

I had a pair of Lange's years ago and swore I would never do that again. They were awesome on the slopes as far as control and such especially in go fast mode . But they were so stiff and so tight fitting I could barely walk after a day on the slopes. I imagine they have changed since that was about 20+ years ago...

Thanks! Yeah I probably won' put 600 days on these for the rest of my life, but I wish I could! The last pair of boots I had, I had for about 15 years. Getting into these things was a night and day difference. Going from a worn out 90 flex boot to a 130flex boot gave me an entirely new level of control, it was incredible.

Now I need to get a new pair of skis. I've been on my Atomic Beta5's for the last 11 years, and a pair of 4frnt park skis that I use on snowier days for the last 6 years. I think it's time for an upgrade this year.

They're definitely stiff. Mine are form fitted to my foot though, so it's like putting my foot in a padded cast that fits my foot perfectly. No pressure points, nothing like that. I don't clamp down on my boots. I never really tighten the toe clips tighter than the loosest setting, as all those clamps do is keep water out. If I'm hammering groomers I like to keep my top buckles around the 2nd loosest clip so I put a knee into the snow on my carves. Get into backcountry and I'll snug them up a little bit just so I have full control when I can't see my feet.

Don't get me wrong, taking my boots off at the end of the day is still the best part of vacation.

Ahhh... I can't wait to get in the white stuff. The end of Feb can't come soon enough.

I've been on my Volkl Unlimited AC4 Titanium Skis with Motion 12.0P Bindings since 2006 now. So I only have a few hundred days on them. It will be a sad day when I have to give them up and I know that day is coming soon. I also have a pair of the Volkl Unlimited AC40 Carbons. The AC4s are far better at off piste.

AC4's are killer sticks. A buddy of mine has a pair that I've ridden for a few days over the years, and I love them. I need to demo some ski's this year and snag some at the end of the season when the deals hit.

Cool to see so many of us like the white stuff too... keeps the whole year interesting.
